One day when I was hiking in Phoenix, Arizona – I took the below photo. In reality, there is nothing mysterious about the location – it’s simply a giant culvert pipe that runs under the road so the hiking trail can continue. The original photo was good, but not like you see it below. I simply applied “Posterization” in Photoshop and – ta da – a Rising Phoenix. That’s it, no other manipulation. What some would call coincidence, I call a revelation. Hidden from the naked eye, the Rising Phoenix beckons to us. Thousands of people have walked through this pipe probably around the same time of day I did and they don’t even know what they saw. This is a symbol for how we walk through our lives every day. Hidden before us are many messages, lessons, teachings that could change our lives dramatically. We only need a desire. Seek, and ye shall find….
